Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens flinty under ripe strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced black cherry-cola and pomegranate blend with notes of oak and clove along with a hint of black raspberry at the very end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while after the wine is gone. This Pinot would pair nicely with Peking duck. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Layers of cranberry, red currant and kirsch aromas are supported by subtle notes of Christmas spice. Ripe red fruit flavors envelop the palate throughout its length with savory forest floor nuances adding complexity. Vibrant acidity brings energy and balance while supple tannins frame the flavors across the impressively long finish.
