Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with fragrant black raspberry bouquet with a hint of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and friendly. The flavor profile is a gentle mild plum with hints of mild minerality and faint oak. I also detected a hint of cola. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair well with most foods. I would pair it with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: On the nose, Afleet opens with dark aromas of exotic spice, leather, cherry pipe tobacco, and hints of cedar. The palate exposes rich flavors of black current, hints of forest floor, leather, black tea, and vanilla to reveal a wine with firm acidity and robust tannins. This is a wine with exceptional consistency each year, a wine that will age gracefully
