Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley is very nice. It opens with a very inviting cherry-cola like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak with infused cherry and plum. I also detected hints of pepper, cola and strawberry. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot would be a perfect match for grilled salmon with a creamy lemon dill sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: With opulent aromas of cocoa and gingerbread on the nose, Unforgettable opens up to reveal notes of baking spice and Bing cherry. On the palate, a silky and voluptuous texture leads to rich flavors of maple syrup and black plum with a hint of roasted marshmallow. With a lingering finish, this is a wine not soon forgotten.
