Wine Review: This bright ruby red colored Pinot opens with a gentle red cherry bouquet with a hint of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle raspberry and mild plum blend with nicely integrated mild oak. I also detected a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. This Pinot is very food friendly and will disappear quickly. I would pair it with grilled pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Full-bodied, fully formed, and incredibly rich, it has aromas that assault with notes of forbidden cherry pipe tobacco, tamari soy, and sweet molasses. Round and redolent with flavors of blueberry compote, boysenberry, and sour cherry, laced with toasty oak and fieldstone minerality. Unforgettable is very dense and concentrated, with a savory finish that extends and lingers. This is a wine to go to the distance.
