Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a strawberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and very easy to drink. The flavors profile is a tasty black raspberry and black plum with notes of gentle oak and red currant. The finish is dry and its gentle flavors and mild tannins are nicely prolonged. This Pinot would pair well with many foods. I would pair it with a wild boar ragu over penne pasta. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of rose petals, touch of herbs, tea leaves, and sumac round out the intrigue. Flavors are bright, with strawberries, cherry, cola, and cocoa dust, accented by mineral notes and very fine tannins.
