Wine Review: This light orange colored dessert wine opens with a fragrant apricot bouquet with hints of honey and orange. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, quite viscous, and pleasantly sweet. The flavor profile is a tasty apricot and ginger blend with notes of ripe apple, raisin, and honey. The finish is sweet and its flavors linger for quite a while after the wine is gone. This dessert wine would be a very nice sipper by a roaring fire at the lodge after coming in from skiing. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This elegant dessert wine pours golden in the glass with flavors of lychee, mango, honey and apricots. The dessert wine is balanced in acidity and has a lingering finish. Grapes are pressed while frozen, yielding extremely concentrated juice high in sugar, flavor as well as acidity. The ice crystals of water remain in the press. Winemaker: Helmut Gangl - Illmitz, Austria
