Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from MacRostie opens with a mild lemon and faint peach pie bouquet with hints of lychee, guava, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and juicy. The flavor profile is gently oaked mild Granny Smith apple with notes of light coconut and mild lemon tea. We also detected hints of vanilla cream, guava, and kitchen spice. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with a seafood casserole or poached trout. Enjoy - KWGTP.
