Wine Review: This traditional California styled Chardonnay is very good. It is light yellow colored and opens with a vanilla oak bouquet with a hint of pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty Bartlett pear with nicely integrated vanilla oak and a hint of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This really nice Chard would pair very well with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich gold in color, this wine exhibits both stony minerality and sweet honey on the nose, and is very rich and juicy on the palate, with baked pineapple, creme caramel, and a bit of spicy toasted oak. Lush, soft and round on the lengthy finish.
