Wine Review: This light yellow colored Pinot Gris from MacMurray opens with a pleasant apple and gentle peach bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, rich and nicely coats the mouth. The flavor profile is a mineral infused tangerine with hints of Bosc pear, lime and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This is a very nice everyday Pinot Gris that would pair well with pecan chicken. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: With its rich aromas and flavors of pear, baked apple, dried fig and white peach, our MacMurray Ranch 2012 Russian River Valley Pinot Gris has an expressive, fruit-forward character and a rich mouthfeel that will enhance with age.
