Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Pinot Gris from MacMurray is very good. It opens with faint apple bouquet with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and crisp. The flavor profile is pear with notes of mineality. I also detected a hint of marzen beer and peach. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. I would pair this Pinot Gris with chicken picatta. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: With its rich aromas and flavors of pear, baked apple, dried fig and white peach, our MacMurray Estate Vineyards Russian River Valley Pinot Gris has an expressive, fruit‐forward character and a rich mouthfeel that will enhance with age.
