Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from MacMurray is very friendly. It opens with a mild craisin and black plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is cranberry and mulberry blend with notes of steely minerality, oak and black pepper. I also detected a hint of cola towards the end. The finish is dry and its acidity remains fresh in the end. This Pinot would be a very good country club offering to have with a juicy burger after a round of golf. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Indicative of its cool-climate region, our MacMurray Estate Vineyards Central Coast Pinot Noir opens with delicate aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry and pomegranate, accented by hints of vanilla and toast and a silky mouthfeel. With time to breathe, this wine will display an excellent balance of flavor, acidity and texture.
