Wine Review: This ruby red colored Pinot Noir opens with a red raspberry and mild strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, approachable and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a red plum with notes of gentle oak. I also detected hints of strawberry, red cherry and a touch of red beet towards the end. The finish is dry and eases away nicely. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with pulled pork or Spanish rice. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2012 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir opens with aromas of lavender and boysenberry that give way to flavors of dark cherry and pomegranate. This luscious wine has a silky mouthfeel, framed by subtle hints of oak from barrel aging.
