Wine Review: This translucent and bright red Nebbiolo from the Langhe region opens with a maraschino cherry, red raspberry, and cedar bouquet with hints of cinnamon, and pine resin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fresh. The flavor profile is a maraschino cherry and cedar plank blend with notes of stone dust and red raspberry tea. We also detected hints of red licorice and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its grippy tannins are nicely prolonged. We would pair this Nebbiolo with Duck à l'Orange. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
