Wine Review: This dark Nebbiolo opens with a cherry and oolong tea bouquet with hints of licorice and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. On the palate, this wine is round and very bright. The flavor profile is a cedar plank influenced red cherry and licorice blend with notes of red plum and oolong tea. I also detected hints of clove towards the end. The finish is rather dry, and its bold tannin linger and last for a while. I would pair this Nebbiolo with a griller hanger steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The M.A. Monticelli Langhe Nebbiolo explodes from the glass with aromas of ripe cherries, wild raspberries, blackberries, perfumed lavender, and baking spice. This soft and approachable wine has a gorgeous fruit-forward nose and plush tannins on the palate. 50% of the grapes for this wine come from the Barolo designation lending beautiful structure to the palate.
