Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Anderson Valley opens with a pomegranate and oolong tea bouquet with hints of spiced red plum, pine, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is fresh, lively, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is juicy red plum and tobacco blend with notes of cedar. We also detected hints of oolong tea, red raspberry, and mushrooms. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and very dusty tannins linger nicely. We would decant this young wine for a while as it benefits from some aeration. Then we would pair it with a veal scallopini with a mushroom sauce or veal saltimbocca. Enjoy - Ken, Dave, & Julie
