Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with a blackberry and wild black raspberry bouquet with notes of moist pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is loam and wild black raspberry blend with notes of mushroom and mild craisin. We also detected hints of stony minerality, red licorice and clove. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mild dusty tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this rustic styled Pinot with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
