Wine Review: This dark straw colored Gewurztraminer opens with an attractive lychee and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and has a nice gentle sweetness to it. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe lychee with notes of Bartlett pear and a hint of faint minerality and touch of lime and orange. The finish is semi-sweet and its flavors drift away nicely. This Gewurz is very nice and would pair very well with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Golden yellow hints. The Gewurztraminer varietal is pink with white fruit and juice. Bursting with the aroma of honey, red roses, and exotic fruit (passion, pineapple, litchi), yet dry and rich on the palate, well-balanced, good persistence, finishing with spicy notes (pepper, cinnamon).
