Wine Review: This midnight purple colored wine from Tuscany opens with a black cherry bouquet with hints of strawberry, hickory bark, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The flavor profile is a red plum and cedar blend with notes cured meat. We also detected hints of marjoram, red currant, raisin, and cherry-cola. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this wine with a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken and Mike
Winemaker Notes: The wine is an intense and bright red color. The nose opens with intense fruity hints of blackberry, plum and currant, enriched by toasted and vanilla nuances. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, soft and elegant, with a persistent finish that displays a pleasantly sweet and fruity aftertaste.
