Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc from Lucas & Lewellen opens with an oak and faint red currant bouquet with hints of coffee and craisin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is red currant with notes of light strawberry. We also detected hints of herbal tea, vanilla, and crushed gravel. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins build-up and linger for quite some time. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab Franc with a pot roast. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Velvety, dark red color; blood orange, cinnamon, dried golden and plum fruit aromas. Immediate flavor, good structure and weight on the mid-palate, with an elegant and lasting finish.
