Wine Review: This burgundy colored Dolcetto opens with earthy notes of tobacco, smoky oak, cranberry and black currant on the nose. We found it to be light to medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is primarily cranberry and pomegranate with some integrated earthy minerality. The finish is dry. This is a well-priced weekday wine to pair with pasta dishes with red sauce. – Karen & Stuart
Winemaker Notes: Ruby red in color, this Dolcetto shows aromas of dark berries and peppery spicy notes on the nose. It has silky tannins that give it a smooth mouthfeel, great structure and a well-integrated body. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to an array of Italian foods, like cheeses, pastas and risotto.
