Wine Review: This deep ruby and slightly opaque Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black cherry and black currant bouquet with a hint of spice and black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and savory. The flavor profile is black currant and black cherry blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of stony minerality, and stewed black plum mixed in. The finish is very dry and its dusty tannins drift away. This very good Napa Cab would pair well with a NY strip steak.
