Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Pouilly Fuisse opens with a toasted coconut, green apple, and custard bouquet with hints of light lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and approachable. The flavor profile is a light lemon and pear blend with notes of chalky minerality and chamomile tea. I also detected some hints of dried coconut and white pepper mixed in. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger nicely. This Chard would pair well pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
