Wine Review: This light gold colored Chardonnay from Louis Jadot opens with a light underripe pineapple and lemon verbena bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous and bright. The flavor profile is a light lemon tea and chalky minerality blend with notes of mild pineapple, green apple, and almond. We also detected hints of mandarin orange in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and refreshing. We would pair this Chard with steamed mussels or fish tacos. Enjoy – KWGTP
