Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay opens with a bee’s wax and a mild pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and acidic, yet round. We also found it to be mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced green apple and mild pineapple blend with notes of white pepper and Anjou pear. I also detected a hint of faint saline. The finish is dry and flavors and acidity linger and last for quite a white. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well with skillet tilapia with a creamy lemon sauce. Enjoy - Ken
