Wine Review: The 2015 Louis Jadot Chablis is light straw colored and opens with a pleasant citrus bouquet of lemon, light tangerine and minerality along with hints of cantaloupe. It is smooth, yet crisp and dry, while medium bodied on the palate. The flavor profile is mainly citrus featuring tart pink grapefruit. I also enjoyed its lively acidity which helped round out this Chardonnay. The finish was nice and remained dry. I thought this Chard from Chablis is very versatile and would pair well with many food options. I would recommend pairing it with oysters on the half shell for an appetizer or fettuccine alfredo for a main course. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: The Louis Jadot Chablis has a very nice golden yellow colour. It is a lipid, bright and fresh wine, which taste and bouquet develop relatively quickly. This wine will be at its best drunk young and fresh - up to 5 years - if kept in good conditions. It should be served chilled, and can be served with oysters, charcuterie and fried fish. It also goes very well with goat cheese.
