Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine opens with mild black plum and black olive bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is mineral and oak influenced black olive and currant blend with notes of black licorice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build up and last for quite a while. Decant this very nice Chilean wine for 30+ minutes and serve it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red color. Raspberry and ripe cherry-scented nose with hints of saffron, paprika, nutmeg, black pepper, chocolate, and tobacco. A broad-shouldered wine of gorgeous personality, large volume, and elegant and balanced tannin.
