Wine Review: This Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile is a very good value. It displays an intense ruby color. The nose is dark cherry, raspberry and leather with a hint of oak. It is full bodied, lush and young. Very Bordeaux like. On the palate, you will find blackberry and dark plum flavors with some smooth mild oak. Let this one breath for 20 to 60 minutes and you will enjoy it much better. The long finish lingers with dusty dry tannins. A NY strip steak would pair nicely with this good value Cab. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red colour. The nose presents aromas of black cherries and blackcurrants combined with liquorice, pink peppercorns, paprika and bay leaf. Good volume and structure in the mouth. A wine with great personality, and mellow, well-integrated tannins.
