Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark red colored blend from France opens with a mild pomegranate and red plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mild black cherry and gentle minerality blend with hints of pomegranate, black plum, and hint oak. I also detected a dash black pepper in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are a little sticky. This wine is a good value and would pair well with barbecue bacon bourbon meatballs. Enjoy - Ken
