Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from California opens with a blackberry jam bouquet with hints of plum and concord grapes. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, juicy and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a blend of blackberry and olive with notes of black licorice. I also detect hints of oak, minerality, plum, and a touch of Concord grape. The finish is dry and its flavors and its round moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair well with barbecue steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
