Wine Review: This very deep purple colored Zinfandel from Limerick Lane opens with a black tea and black cherry bouquet with hints of violets, dark chocolate, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, juicy, and bright. The flavor profile is a blackberry and black tea blend with notes of black plum and cedar. We also detected hints of blueberry, dark chocolate, and graphite. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with tenderloin with sauteed mushrooms, short ribs, or with shepherd's pie. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Nestled across the street from our estate vineyard, this wine showcases the impeccable quality of the fruit now that the vines have matured. This wine seamlessly complements our lineup. Enticing aromas of blackberry and anise fill the glass, while flavors of cherry, blueberry, and a touch of licorice fill the palate The medium-bodied character, broad texture, and velvety finish complete this wine, making it a must-have addition to your cellar.
