Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Zinfandel based wine from Limerick Lane opens with a red cherry and boysenberry bouquet with hints of cinnamon and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, zesty, and fresh. The flavor profile is mild boysenberry and graphite blend with notes of mild black plum and cinnamon. We also pick up some hints of black pepper, oak, and lingonberry in the blend. The finish is dry and its fruit and refined dusty tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this red blend with grilled hanger steak or a porterhouse steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
