Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Zinfandel from the Limerick Lane Estate opens with a gentle red cherry, cardamon and faint strawberry bouquet with hints of sage and bay leaf. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth and graceful. The flavor profile is mild loam and red plum blend with notes of red cherry and crushed clove. We also detected hint of cardamon, dried herbs and stony minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and bold and dusty tannins are quite extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with a wild boar ragu and grilled venison sausage. Enjoy - KWGTP
