Wine Review: This translucent and dark red colored Zinfandel from the Bedrock Vineyard opens with a black cherry and raspberry bouquet with hints of rosemary, garrigue, and crushed stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, super-smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is cola and red plum blend with notes of green tea and mocha. We also detected hints of craisin, vanilla, and oak. The finish is dry, and its well-managed mild tannins linger nicely for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this very food friendly Zin with a bone-in filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
