Wine Review: This dark red colored Zinfandel from the Limerick Lane Estate opens with a mild strawberry, black tea, and cherry bouquet with hints of red raspberry, wet stone, and dried herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, rich and a bit lush. The flavor profile is a concentrated blend of red plum and cranberry with notes of tobacco and stone dust. We also detected hints of raisin and toasted oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate dusty tannins linger and last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with grilled wild boar tenderloin from Jiko at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or a boneless leg of lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
