Wine Review: This medium garnet colored blend from Limerick Lane opens with a red plum bouquet with hints of red cherry. Strawberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and round. The flavor profile is a red plum and mild mineral blend with notes of old oak and a hint of Earl Grey tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle tannins drift away nicely. This wine is food friendly and would pair nicely with wood grilled moulard foie gras, teriyaki beef skewers, or pork marbella.
