Wine Review: This opaque and medium ruby colored Zinfandel based wine from Limerick Lane opens with a plum and strawberry rhubarb bouquet with hints of peach, black cherry, and pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is crushed stone influenced black plum with notes of nicely integrated gentle toasted oak, mild strawberry and blackberry. There are also hints cassis mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins and flavors are nicely extended. The Panel would pair this wine with a grilled marinated flank steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
