Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Leonetti is impressive. It opens with a black currant bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a black currant and oak blend with hints of nicely integrated minerality and plum. The finish is dry and its well-managed tannins build-up and last for a very long time. This Cab is very impressive and would pair well with a dry-aged ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Nearly black in the glass. Intricate nose of licorice, lavender, dried herb, cold black coffee mixed with caramel, black fruits, and elderberry. Incredible purity of fruit. Massive, but plush, with a core of mouthwatering acidity and a polished finish.
