Wine Review: This slightly cloudy hay colored Chenin Blanc from Mendocino opens with Anjou pear and lime zest bouquet with hints of lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh, and bright. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and saline blend with notes of white nectarine and almond. I also detected hints of chamomile tea and a touch of underripe pineapple. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. It went perfectly with my coq au vin blanc turkey meatballs. Enjoy - Ken
