Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Long Island opens with an oak, pineapple, and pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty-spiced Anjou pear and oak blend with notes of butter, bread dough and lemon verbena. The finish is dry, and its flavors are very nicely prolonged. I would serve this Chard a little cool with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli in a mild butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
