Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Lenz opens with a black currant and new leather bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel balanced, rich and concentrated. The flavor profile is a complex blend of macerated black cherry and black currant with notes of stony minerality and black tea. I also detected hints of black licorice, black pepper, and oak. The finish is dry and dusty tannins build-up and last for quite some time. I would pair this impressive Long Island Cab with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
