Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Lenne was well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a red raspberry bouquet with notes of green olive and oak. We also picked-up hints of strawberry bubble gum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft, yet savory. The flavor profile is a red raspberry and herbal tea blend with notes of rhubarb and strawberry. We also detected hints of light oak, minerals and spice. The finish is dry and its tingly acidity, flavors and refined tannins linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with grilled blackened tuna steaks. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 115 clone comes from the block right outside the front door of the tasting room and is one of our favorite clones in the sedimentary soil of Lenne. The 2017 Lenne Jill's 115 Pinot Noir has beautiful red fruits, think currant ripe red cherry and also the signature terroir mocha aromatic. On the palate, the wine is dense, yet light on its feet and has the same piercing finish that is characteristic of all of Lenne 2017 wines. The fine-grained tannins of this clone leads to some of our most opulent wine with bottle age.
