Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a mild strawberry and red cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mild oak and mineral infused strawberry. I also detected hints of plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while. This Pinot is food friendly and idea to pair with Emeril's pan roasted squab with a fig and red wine reduction sauce. Enjoy- Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lovely dark bing cherry and coco aromatics give way to a long, juicy finish. Like all Lenne wines from the 20141 vintage, Karen's Pommard will be a long lived wine. Best 6 to 10 years after release.
