Wine Review: This wine looks, smells, and drinks like a Burgundian Pinot Noir. This wine is transparent in the glass with floral notes on the nose. On the palate, it is light with wild flowers, white pepper, raspberries, and hints of applewood smoke. The finish is a bit tart with the acidity overpowering the fruit flavors that are usually expected. This is best paired with smoked salmon or marsala chicken. A traditional Pinot Noir that breaks the modern mold. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Supple and open in texture, this wine offers a mouthful of ripe plum and cherry flavors that mingle with floral and spicy notes. Named after the family’s left handed daughter, Cali, this Cuvee (blend)is 100% Dijon, Pommard and Wadenswil clone Pinot Noir.
