Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Oregon opens with a light lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering for a Chard. The flavor profile is a green apple with notes of gentle minerality and faint oak. I also detected hints chamomile tea at the very end. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Chard would pair well with a roasted garlic chicken. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This easy drinking Chardonnay delivers golden flower aromas of honeysuckle and elderberry accented with brown sugar. A burst of acidity on the palate is complimented with ripe pear fruit, rounded out by vanilla, coconut, caramel and butterscotch on the finish.
