Wine Review: This Chardonnay from Oregon is my style. It is a bright pale straw color and opens with golden apple, pear, lime zest and some caramel notes on the nose. It is dry and balanced with a velvety texture and has a medium plus body and medium acidity. It features an interesting mix of ripe pear, peach, saline and hazelnut flavors with a hint of oak in the background. The finish lasts quite a while and has some spicy notes to it. This could be sipped on its own or paired with a field salad with pear, spiced walnuts and creamy blue cheese. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Our Truffle Hill Chardonnay seeks balance. The 2016 is crisp, bright and flinty with fruit forward flavors of golden apples, pear, spice, figs and subtle hints of cream and a lingering finish.
