Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from the Margaret River region in Australia is Excellent! It opens with a mild oak and grilled pineapple bouquet with hints of vanilla crème brulee. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, bright and exciting. The flavor profile is a delicious pineapple and poached Bartlett pear blend with notes of chalky minerality, oak, and lemon-lime. I also detected hints of quince and nectarine in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely before drifting away. This impressive Chard would pair nicely with Chicken St. Timothy. Enjoy - Ken

The complexity of cinnamon quill, toasted hazelnuts, nougat, panna cotta, flint and graphite diligently lie in the background. The palate is bright and energetic, with laced mineral acidity. Bursting lemon, lime and pear skin meet oyster shell. and saline notes, providing a precise corridor and direction. Gently coiled textures give lateral capacity and dimension.
