Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling from down under opens with a mild lemon and faint apricot bouquet with a hint of bee's wax. On the palate this wine is light bodied, acidic, lively and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a lemon verbena and ripe lime blend with notes minerality, grapefruit and quinine. The finish is semi-dry and subtle. This Riesling would pair well with swordfish kabobs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2010 Riesling has bright straw green in color, with concentrated aromas of freshly cut limes, jasmine and subtle sweet spice on the nose. The palate displays ripe grapefruit, citrus and musk flavors, merging into strong lime intensity on the finish. Held together by a core of crisp acidity, the finish is typically dry and clean.
