Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Riesling from down under will really appeal to readers who like Australian styled Riesling. It is well made and shows of the classic Aussie Riesling characteristics. It opens with a very fragrant tangerine and lime bouquet with notes of Granny Smith apples. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and tangy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused citrus with notes of Squirt soda and lime. The finish is semi-dry and very refreshing. If you like this style of Riesling, it would be a perfect option to consider poolside on a hot summer day. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale straw color in color, the nose offers an array of bright citrus fruits with a cooling mineral blast and lifted jasmine notes. The palate delivers intensity and focus, the classic Rieslings flavors of lime, grapefruit and crisp apple showing both purity and persistence. The finish is typically dry with clean, crisp acidity.
