Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre opens with a gooseberry, tangerine and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. It is also mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced gooseberry with notes of ginger and a hint of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. I would pair this very good Sauvignon Blanc with Thai Rolls. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Sancerre is an enchanting gold color with pale reflections. Mineral-driven aromas of flint and pebbles intertwine with floral notes and vine peach skin. This ensemble is very airy and brings a beautiful elegance to the wine. On the palate it has a softness that balances with minerality, traces of the flint terroir and nuances of peach and orange quarter. The finish is intense, salivating and lingering.
