Wine Review: This straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a gooseberry, lemon, and pine bouquet with hints of apricot, stone dust, and cucumber. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, slightly viscous and clean. The flavor profile is a gentle lime and mild lychee blend with notes of green tea, lemon curd, and white peach. We also detected some hints of saline and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair very nicely with baked sea scallops or steamed mussels. Enjoy - Ken & Mark

Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Fume Blanc carries with it a fragrant bouquet of lemon blossom, lime zest, and ripe lychee. On the palate, the flavors echo the bouquet and are complimented with soft tones of yellow peach. Six months of neutral oak aging have tempered the bright acidity, giving this wine a silky mouthfeel and rich fruit concentration. The finish is accented with subtle smoky notes of vanilla that adds to the complexity of each sip that follows.
